A journey along the Thames, Passing stories.
Fragmentary memories overlapping with realities
Throughout my relocation from childhood to the present, there has always been a river that surrounded me.
When I came to London, the Thames turned into a reflection of who I used to be.
By talking to people, I discovered that none of them was born and raised in London, old and new memories intertwined as they recalled them.
What traces have these flowing memories left behind as they change and dissipate along this still river?
What will happen when we blur the line between past and present?
The transparent paper was utilized to depict how memories overlap through time. Repeated descriptions of words—symbols belonging to those people—are found at the bottom.
